Hospital FREE Friends & Family CPR (Pediatric Course) (Corpus Christi, TX) Each year, about 1.25 million people experience a heart attack in the U.S. with 500,000 resulting in death. An emergency with an infant or child (ages birth to 8-years-old) is more likely to involve a breathing problem. It is important to consider learning safety measures, especially when you have children that depend on you. With the continuous pursuit for childcare safety and the support of the American Heart Association, Driscoll Children’s Hospital will be offering a FREE Friends & Family Pediatric CPR Course. Free and open to the public, the three-hour course will take place on Saturday, July 19, 2003 from 9 a.m. until 12 Noon (registration at 8:30 a.m.) at the hospital. Registration is limited to the first 30 people to enroll. Deadline for registration is Friday, July 11, 2003. This is not a certification course.
