MARK SOLOMON , M.D., JOINS DRISCOLL CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL

(Corpus Christi, TX) Driscoll Children's Hospital is pleased to announce Mark Solomon, M.D., has joined the medical staff as a pediatric pulmonologist. The announcement was made by Rick Merrill, CEO and President of Driscoll Children's Hospital. Dr. Solomon will be treating a wide variety of respiratory issues including pediatric asthma, cystic fibrosis, and premature lung development.

A graduate of University of Texas Medical School at Houston, Dr. Solomon most recently completed a fellowship in clinical pharmacology at Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition, he completed a fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at the University of Wisconsin Medical School’s Department of Pediatrics in Madison, Wisconsin. Prior to his fellowships, Dr. Solomon served as a Pediatric Hospitalist for Pediatric Critical Care Associates, P.A. in Dallas and also at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth.

Solomon is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and as well as an affiliate member of the American College of Chest Physicians.
