HE’S MAKING A LIST; HE’S CHECKING IT TWICE;
SANTA CLAUSE IS COMING TO DRISCOLL!!

Driscoll Holiday Lighting Ceremony & Celebration
Thursday, December 4th, 2003 • 5:55 p.m.
Driscoll Children’s Hospital Front Entrance and Auditorium
3533 S. Alameda Street • Corpus Christi, TX

(Corpus Christi, TX) He’s making a list; He’s checking it twice; He’s going to find out whose naughty or nice; Santa Clause is coming to Driscoll. Thursday, December 4th, Santa Clause will be arriving in his “South Texas Sleigh” to the front entrance of Driscoll Children’s Hospital at 5:55 p.m. to help CEO Rick Merrill kick off the holidays with the Annual Christmas Lighting Ceremony. While the Ray High School Band entertains ears with Christmas music, Santa will lead in a joyful parade all patients, employees and their families into the Driscoll Auditorium for an evening of fun, games, and pictures.

The Driscoll Auditorium will be set up with fun and games following the lighting ceremony. Entertainment will include the music of the W.B. Ray High School Band, Christmas story telling, and craft making. Balloons, cookies and drinks will also be part of the festivities. Santa Clause will be available for pictures with Driscoll’s patients and all attending children.

The Holiday Lighting of Driscoll Children’s Hospital has been a tradition for many years. Each year, right after Thanksgiving, the engineering department strings up over 900 feet of lighted rope, constructing a three story tall angel that faces the Corpus Christi Bay and an even taller Christmas tree that faces Alameda Street. The flagpoles in front of the hospital are also made into a Christmas tree of lights.
