Save a Child - BUCKLE UP!
Keep Your Kids Safe

The KYKS (Keep Your Kids Safe) program is an educational child passenger safety program by Driscoll Children's Hospital. It is a reporting program that involves the community. Child safety advocates report the license plate numbers of vehicles carrying unrestrained children either by mailing in a postcard or calling a hotline. A letter is sent to the vehicle owner informing them of the Texas child occupant law and best safety practices for children in cars. They are also invited to attend a free seminar at DCH on child passenger safety. Attendance in the class may make them eligible for a car seat at a discounted rate. Seminars are held on a monthly basis.
