24TH ANNUAL CHILDREN’S MIRACLE NETWORK TELETHON RAISES OVER $2.3 MILLION

Through the help and support of Community Chairs, Joan and Bernard Paulson, and Medical Chair, Dr. Edgar Cortes, the 24th Annual Children’s Miracle Network Celebration was a tremendous success. A record total of $2,302,599 was raised to benefit the children of South Texas, $866,172 of which was raised through Rio Grande Valley fundraising efforts. The Children’s Miracle Network Celebration represents thousands of gifts donated by individuals, community organizations, corporations, and foundations. One hundred percent of funds raised benefit children in South Texas who receive medical care at Driscoll Children’s Hospital and Driscoll satellite clinics each year. With sincere appreciation, Driscoll Children’s Hospital would like to thank media partners KIII-TV South Texas, KGBT TV Harlingen, and countless other community members for their loyal support each year.
